The Racer is Millenari's answer to the moto jacket; familiar in spirit, precise in execution. Cut from rich black leather, it reimagines a classic silhouette through the Millenari hand: a snap-fastened band collar, considered panelling, and balanced proportions that wear as well with tailoring as they do with denim.

Two zip pockets and two internal compartments sit flush against the body without breaking the line. The two-way central zip opens from either end for a natural, unrestricted fit, while discreet sleeve zips carry a quiet nod to the jacket's moto roots. Nothing shouts. Everything works. This is a jacket that improves with wear and with time.

Lining

Inside, the jacket is finished with Marinelli’s signature lining: a bespoke print in a 65 % silk, 35 % viscose blend. This silky fabric is sewn onto the suede using a special technique that enhances softness and confers a unique sense of exclusivity.

Leather

The outer is crafted from 100 % calf‑lambskin sourced from Solofra in Italy, a region renowned for its premium leathers. This material is chosen for its fine grain, natural suppleness and refined black finish.

Zippers

Marinelli uses only Raccagni - one of Italy’s most prestigious zipper manufacturers, known for supplying the world’s top luxury fashion houses. The zippers are chosen for their flawless functionality, rich finish, and signature "single teeth" construction, which gives a refined, architectural detail to the jacket.

Maintenance & care

Like any fine leather piece, this jacket should be handled with care. Avoid wearing it two days in a row so the natural fibres and leather can relax and recover. Always check the care label, and entrust cleaning to a specialist leather service to preserve both the outer and the silk-blend lining. This jacket is not water resistant, so avoid exposure to rain or moisture. When not in use, fold the jacket carefully and store it in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct light; adding cedar balls or a gentle moth repellent will help keep the fabric fresh.
